Gin Gong: Forget the Oscars – Isle of Harris Gin has been named Scotland’s Favourite Gin for the third year running.

The Outer Hebridean tipple took nearly 10 per cent of the 19,169 votes cast by the public in what the Scottish Gin Society said was the biggest-ever poll into gin buying behaviour in Scotland. At number two was Campbeltown-based Kintyre Botanical Gin followed by Rock Rose Gin of Caithness.

Hundreds of charities, good causes, and community groups across Scotland benefited from the efforts of retailers, staff, and customers, according to the Scottish Retail Consortium. This is the highest figure reported over the four years recorded by the SRC and it takes the cumulative amount raised since 2016 to £59.2m.
