ITISON founder Oli Norman and Kevin Dorren of Dietchef are among 50 investors who have taken part in a £580,000 fund-raising round for Pawprint, a start-up that aims to help people minimise their environmental impact.

Pawprint, founded by Christian Arno of translation specialist Lingo 24, has devised an app that helps “eco-minded” people shift to lower carbon lifestyles.

The funding has allowed Pawprint to accelerate its hiring plans, with the team now including Douglas Cook and Mark McCafferty, formerly of Skyscanner and WoodMac respectively.

Mr Arno said: “The response to the Pawprint concept has been very positive, and we now have an exceptionally high calibre and varied shareholder base.

"Our investors are buying into a long-term vision to help millions of people to fight climate change.”
