A CONVENIENCE store in the Scottish Borders village of Earlston has been bought by 25-year-old retail entrepreneur Kimberly McIntyre.

Christie & Co, which handled the sale on behalf of Tariq Mahboob and Faizan Messrs, noted the previous owners had decided to sell the One-Stop-branded convenience store in Earlston to “pursue other business interests”.

The property agent noted plans by Ms McIntyre, who it said had most recently operated two forecourts under licence in Glasgow for a national company, to rebrand the convenience shop in Earlston as a Premier store.

Christie & Co noted the store offers “chilled foods, everyday groceries, chilled drinks, alcohol and magazines”.

It added: “The dormant Post Office combi-counter is also available to be re-introduced.”
