AN alkaline water brand founded by a Guinness World Record holder has set its sights on European expansion after raising more than £1 million from a crowdfunding drive, elipsing its £500,000 target.

Actiph, produced by purifying natural spring water fromShropshire, was launched by rower Jamie Douglas-Hamilton in 2017. Now available in 15 countries, it is eyeing further expansion internationally after reporting surging sales during the pandemic. Mr Douglas-Hamilton said the funding will help it drive distribution, invest in marketing and develop new products.
