THE coronavirus lockdown has been credited with providing the creative spark for a Blairgowrie-based boardgame company to develop its latest product.

John Bannerman and Andrew Allan took advantage of the lockdown to brainstorm ideas for new, easy to play board and card games. The result was 6° –The Movie Connection Card Game, inspired by the Kevin Bacon game which challenges players to make the shortest connections to the once-ubiquitous actor.

The duo, who trade as TKC Games, have extended the concept with simple rules, the removal of Kevin Bacon to open up the actor pool, and the creation of a powerful suite of online tools to assist during game play.
