PRIVATE bank Brown Shipley has hired Matt Hoyne, a director at UBS Wealth Management in Edinburgh for the past seven years, to head its office in the Scottish capital.

Gerard Wilson, who was most recently a director at UBS Wealth Management in the Scottish capital, is also joining the Edinburgh office of Brown Shipley, which is part of the Quintet group. Brown Shipley said, as head of the Edinburgh office, Mr Hoyne would work with Mr Wilson and its Edinburgh team to “focus on driving…strategic growth plans in Scotland.”
