A spa has hailed what it claims is the only facility of its kind in Scotland offering the chance to book on an exclusive-use basis.

Family-owned holiday resort Taymouth Marina has created a new exclusive Hotbox Spa Experience to give holidaymakers and day trippers to Perthshire the opportunity to enjoy the facility across the autumn and winter, it said.

Parties of up to six guests from up to two households can book exclusive access to the five-star hot box outdoor spa for their group only.

The Herald:

Eric Strickland, spa owner, said: “We are delighted to give guest groups exclusive access to our special spa experience for a much-needed luxury escape from the worries of everyday life.

"We want our guests to feel as relaxed and safe as possible, which is why our new offer focuses on providing a wellness experience aimed at guest bubbles in keeping with current government guidelines."

It includes use of the 40ft outdoor hot pool, sauna and steamroom, the jetty and Loch Tay slide.

The Herald:

Enhanced health and safety measures have been in place across all areas of Taymouth Marina since their reopening and a new contactless ordering system is now in place. Guests are asked to observe current government gudelines by wearing face coverings in public places and by washing hands often.

Taymouth Marina has invested significantly in upgrading facilities over the past two years, including introducing a 40ft outdoor hydrotherapy pool, volleyball pitch, a new breakwater, a café/bar and a slide into Loch Tay. It also offers self-catering accommodation.
