The home service from Six by Nico Glasgow has been brought back as Scotland's hospitality sector re-adapts to new closure measures.

Over the next 16 days, Chef Nico Simeone will present a curation of taste and authenticity as "Sicily" makes its debut for home cooks with the return of Home by Nico.

From tomorrow, the five-course menu perfectly encapsulates the tastes, shapes, scents and colours of Sicilian cuisine, running from Friday October 9 to Sunday October 25.

Chef Nico Simeone said: "Many of our customers will miss the ritual of going out to eat over the next 16 days but being at home during this 'circuit break' period doesn’t have to mean going without the finest restaurant cooking.

"Our Sicily home dining experience will allow customers to enjoy a unique ready-to-bake meal accompanied by exquisite wine in the comfort of your own home."

In April, Chef Nico launched Home by Nico across Belfast, Manchester, Liverpool, Glasgow and Edinburgh to allow people to experience Six by Nico from the comfort of their own homes.

The home delivery kits proved a huge success from the restaurant brand, who had served over 100,00 customers during lockdown. Home by Nico was paused in June as the teams focused on reopening all Six by Nico restaurants.
