FAMILY-owned housebuilder Mactaggart & Mickel has described long-serving, Ayrshire-based site manager Stuart Gillespie as a “model of consistency” after he won another industry award.

Mr Gillespie, senior site manager at the Greenan Views development at Doonfoot in Ayr, was named regional winner for the “medium builder” category at the National House Building Council Pride in the Job awards. He now has 11 NHBC Scottish “regional” awards. The latest award recognised Mr Gillespie’s role in overcoming the challenges created by Covid-19 by leading company colleagues and sub-contractors.
