FORMER Burness Paull partner Ewan McIntyre, a dispute resolution practitioner, has joined law firm Burges Salmon.

He will be based in Burges Salmon's Edinburgh office.

Burges Salmon said the appointment demonstrated further its commitment to establishing itself in Scotland, and to "delivering exceptional client service across the UK".

Mr McIntyre said: “I am delighted to be joining Burges Salmon at such an exciting time in its growth to help develop and shape the firm’s dispute resolution offering in Scotland."

Burges Salmon noted Mr McIntyre was previously a partner at Burness Paull for eight years and head of litigation at Morton Fraser.
