Ambassador Group has announced the official groundbreaking for a £15 million development on one of its properties at the Alba Campus in Livingston, which is home to major life sciences operations.

The developer says the project will bring with it up to 120 new jobs once the 50,000 sq ft extension is complete. Building work, led by Muir Construction, is expected to take around 15 months.

Ambassador said it had signed a new long-term lease extension with its tenants over the increased 165,000 sq ft facility, “bringing further economic investment and job security...and strengthening Scotland’s position as a global leader in life science research”.
