Our World Our Impact, Glasgow Science Centre’s public engagement programme for climate change, launches The Hub, an on demand digital platform which features exclusive online content to encourage people to get involved in the climate conversation

The Hub has something for everyone, whether you’re looking for an introduction to climate change and topics such as biodiversity, or if you’re interested in finding tips and tricks to do your part in saving the planet, to taking part in environmental activism to create a greener, healthier and fairer future.

The Herald:

While there’ll be lots of content on The Hub when it launches, GSC will also be releasing new content every day on The Hub from 16-29 Nov to get everyone interested in climate change.

Here are some of the highlights:

The Promise

The Promise is beautifully animated climate film about how one person can make the world greener and fairer. The film, hosted on the Our World, Our Impact Hub, is based on the New York Times Best Illustrated Book of the same name, written by Nicola Davies and illustrated by Laura Carlin.

Climate Voices

What are your hopes for the future? With one year to go until Glasgow hosts the world’s biggest conference on climate change, join some of the Climate Voices such as National Chef of Scotland, as they explore the future we all want to see.

Climate Action Challenge

What do Abba and Mariah Carey have in common in tackling climate change? Join eco warrior and environmental activist Laura Young as she challenges us to consider what we can do in our daily lives in tackling climate change. It’s easier than you think.
