TRAVEL firm Jet2 has introduced new flights and holidays to Antalya, Turkey.

The new services, which depart from Edinburgh, Glasgow and Newcastle from March 2022, have been introduced in response to strong demand from holidaymakers and golfers, the firm said.

Steve Heapy, chief executive of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays said: “The stunning Antalya region is becoming more and more popular with all types of customer, from families and couples through to golfers.

“Holidaymakers can enjoy beaches, culture, waterparks and incredible cuisine for amazing value and the wide selection of world-class courses, complemented by stunning hotels, makes Antalya a golfing paradise too. When you factor in the glorious sunny weather on top of that, Antalya in March is a very attractive proposition which is why we are increasing capacity in response to demand."

The new routes have been added as the travel industry continues to be heavily constrained by measures to suppress coronavirus.
