PROMOTIONAL and pop-up retail space provider SpaceandPeople has announced a major expansion of its offerings in train stations with exclusive, multi-year contracts for regional networks including Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR), Northern Railway and Merseyrail.

The Scottish firm noted GTR “manages Thameslink, Southern Railway, Great Northern and Gatwick Express and its portfolio includes East Croydon, Brighton and Blackfriars stations”.

Chief executive Nancy Cullen said: “This supports our existing network of major London stations with many rail opportunities throughout the UK.”

She added: “Welcoming these additional rail franchises onto the SpaceandPeople service, along with the new shopping centre venues we announced last week, represents a further broadening of the portfolio of opportunities that we can exclusively offer brands, promoters and pop-up retail clients moving forward.

SpaceandPeople said: "Northern Railway operates in the north of England connecting tens of thousands of people and has a station portfolio which includes Manchester Oxford Road and Manchester Victoria. Merseyrail services the Liverpool area and owns Liverpool Central station, one of the busiest stations outside London."
