What is it?
A wireless charging station that enables simultaneous replenishing of up to three devices.
Typical Qi-charging pads offer convenient but limited recharging of a single device which means you must either purchase many of them or stick to cabled connections which defeats the purpose of Qi gadgets.
Sandberg has created a 3-in-1 charger that allows multiple devices to be recharged in a single unit.
Good points?
The charging area provides flexibility that's hard to match in similar products. You can simply place three Qi-compatible gadgets on the pad or opt for a smartphone, earbuds, Apple watch combination by using the smartwatch stand.
Five-coil technology gives the device the capability to power multiple devices without the need for a bulky charging platform. It measures 213mm x 85mm x 14mm (8in x 3in x 0.5in) and is made of metal and a heat-dissipating thermoplastic polymer.
A five-year warranty means you have some peace of mind about shelling out your hard-earned cash. Failsafe design is another element to Sandberg's product and this unit is no different, featuring overcurrent, overvoltage and overheat protection.
Bad points?
Unlike Sandberg's other charging pads that have genuine marble stone surfaces, the 3-in-1's exterior and overall general look is a tad bland in pale white.
Best for ...
Those with multiple Qi-compatible devices to charge as this unit provides everything you would need and more. The price is excellent value as it is the equivalent of three chargers in one.
Avoid if ...
An extra cable protruding here or there makes no difference to you. In which case, carry on as you were with traditional charging methods.
