ROGERS - Patrick "Paddy" The family of the late Paddy Rogers (died 11th December 2022) wish to express their sincere thanks and appreciation to all relatives, friends, and neighbours who sympathised with them on their recent bereavement. Also a very special mention to the staff of Sligo University Hospital and North West Hospice and nursing staff and local carers who were all invaluable. Patrick was married to Nuala and is survived by his sons Paul, Dermot (Pauline), Gerald and David (Martina) and his 7 grandchildren. He was born in Moneyneany, South Derry with 6 brothers and 5 sisters. He retired from Strathclyde Police at the rank of Superintendent in 1992 after a 33 year career having worked in Airdrie and Coatbridge, Hamilton and Glasgow Police divisions. He was a member of St Mary's Parish, Cadzow Street, Hamilton.
