THE amalgamation of the former pupil clubs of Hutchesons' Grammar
School and St Aloysius' College was passed by a substantial majority at
an EGM of the Hutchesons' club on Thursday evening. The merger already
had been agreed by the Old Aloysians' club.
Next season the combined club, to be known as Hutchesons'/ Aloysians,
will take over the former's place in Division 4 of the McEwan's National
League, leaving a vacancy in Division 7.
