BT Premier Two and Three: Hardly a ground in either division looks likely to escape an early inspection this morning but, as ever, a postponement will suit some while confounding others.
Selkirk, for example, after their win over Kelso eight days ago, will be champing at the bit to have a go at Ayr in division four with only No.8 Scott Jeffrey out with a shoulder injury, while Ayr will have to re-shuffle their back division.
Colin Shaw and Craig Murdoch are both injured so wingers Richard Good and Shaun Little will fill the centre berths with Kyle Brunning going to full back.
Meanwhile, Kelso will be without the five players suspended by their committee after the much-publicised incident two weeks ago when they play West at Poynder Park.
Ian Fairley resumes at scrum half with George Robson at centre, but Stewart Lang is still carrying an injury. Barry Irvine is still out with the injury picked up against Selkirk but Ian McInroy and Rory Kerr are back behind the scrum, and Carlo di Cacchia returns at hooker.
Colin Mair said: ''The guys are bursting to get games played to keep the roll going.''
League leaders Aberdeen GSFP will have to make changes for the trip to Raeburn Place but that is something that every team has to face at some stage. ''This sort of situation tests our strength in depth,'' said coach John Fleming, ''and, although we're missing Steve Newton, Steve McLachlan, and Colin McCall, we have to plug the gaps successfully.''
The whiff of promotion around Bridgehaugh is gettimg more powerful by the week and club captain Alister Logan confirmed that a full-strength Stirling side would face Peebles. ''Murray Fraser is fit after taking a knock at Ayr and we will have Malcolm Norval and Gareth Flockhart in the pack,'' he said.
Former Melrose prop Millan Browne is the latest Stirling signing and, selected on the bench, he will play at some stage. Peebles will have Chris Foster at full back for the injured Calum Farmer.
Anchored at the bottom they may be but, with seven games still to play, East Kilbride are determined to climb back up the league with a win against Biggar.
The top four face each other in division three with third placed Berwick facing new league leaders Grangemouth at Scremerston while Murrayfield Wanderers take on Dundee HSFP who could pull themselves up into second spot with a win, but only if Grangemouth beat Berwick.
The promotion run-in is definitely not for the faint hearted.
In the other matches, Musselburgh play Hillhead/Jordanhill, Stewarts-Melville face Preston Lodge, and Gordonians take on Glasgow Southern.
