SIGNINGS UPDATE

TONY Rougier will today complete his move to Hibs, with Keith Wright and Ian Cameron moving to Raith Rovers.

Wright decided last night to rejoin his former club and that paved the way for former Aberdeen winger Cameron to go with him to Stark's Park. That means Rougier finally will join the Easter Road side after months of speculation.

The Trinidadian winger has been at Rovers for two years but made it clear he wanted away from Kirkcaldy.

qDUNFERMLINE yesterday signed Birmingham City first-team central defender, 30- year-old Dave Barnett.

Barnett was surprised when Birmingham did not offer him a new contract and Dunfermline were first to come up an acceptable offer. ''Following my injury, it seemed obvious I was to play second fiddle to Steve Bruce and Gary Ablett,'' he said.

qHEARTS could be on the verge of signing a Cameroon internationalist, the Edinburgh club having given Constantine Etot a 10-day trial at Tynecastle.

Etot, a 26-year-old attacking midfielder, has won one cap for Cameroon and is regarded as one of their stars of the future.
