ENGLAND defeated Scotland 2-0 in their European Championship qualifier
at McDiarmid Park yesterday thanks to two goals from Gail Borman, who
struck in the thirtieth minute then put the seal on a fine personal
performance with a second strike two minutes from the end.
Scotland's Jackie Law passed up several good chances, including a shot
from 16 yards which whistled past the post in the sixty-third minute
after good build-up work by Pauline Hamill.
