PAISLEY again proved the most effective challengers to the dominance

of Livingston Bulls when they led the holders 40-30 at half-time in the

Scottish Cup semi-final at Linwood Sports Centre yesterday). But Bulls

charged back to win 77-60, their concentration less affected apparently

by an injury to Iain Maclean which stopped the game in the second half.

Despite the mishap, Maclean finished top scorer with 30 points,

strongly supported by another ex-Paisley player Bobby Archibald with 17,

while Phil Birch scored 22 and Jim Mitchell 15 for Paisley. Results:
