THE neighbour of Christopher Stanley, nine, whose naked body was found
in a wartime pill box, was yesterday charged with his murder. Mr Kelvin
McMahon, 24, unemployed, of Hounslow, London, will appear today before
magistrates in Feltham. The body was found on Thursday on the edge of
Hounslow Heath golf course, near his home.
Detective Superintendent Chris Burke, leading the inquiry, said he was
was anxious to find which route the boy had taken from his home to the
heath and the whereabouts of his clothes. He also renewed appeals for
anyone who might have seen the boy after 7.30 pm on Wednesday, when he
was last seen alive, to come forward.
