The SNP has stretched its lead over Labour in Holyrood polling to an unprecedented 26%.

The Ipsos MORI survey of more than 1000 voters puts Labour on an all-time low of 23% compared with the SNP on 49%. The Tories are on 13% and LibDems 10%.

Personal approval ratings for Alex Salmond fell from a previous high of plus 35% to 22%. Most of his opponents record negative ratings.
