SCOTTISH DJ Calvin Harris is set to perform at the wedding of socialite Tamara Ecclestone, for a cool £320,000 fee.

The DJ and singer from Dumfries is one of the big names expected to perform at the nuptials of the daughter of Formula One billionaire Bernie Ecclestone, which will take place on a private super-yacht on the French Riviera this summer.

Harris, 29, known originally as Adam Richard Wiles, has worked with a range of artists including Kylie Minogue and Rihanna. He's appearing at T in the Park in July.

The 28-year-old heiress and her fiance, City stockbroker Jay Rutland, 31, have already started planning their wedding for June after a three-month whirlwind romance.

They are believed to be in discussion with agents about entertainment.

The music alone will set back 82-year-old Ecclestone about £3.5 million, with American singers Jennifer Lopez and Lionel Richie also expected to appear, at a cost of £2.1m and £1m respectively.

The wedding will take place at the world-renowned Hotel Du Cap on the Cote D'Azur.

The 300 guests are expected to include Prince Andrew's ex-wife the Duchess of York and American socialite Paris Hilton.

Previously, Mr Ecclestone spent £12m for his daughter Petra's wedding, a three-day extravaganza in 2011.
