The SNP early today released the results of a party survey on the referendum issue carried out in Aberdeen Donside.
Kevin Pringle, the party's Strategic Communications Director, said the SNP had canvassed almost 20,000 voters and found a narrow majority in favour of independence.
But the biggest grouping were "Don't Knows" with 15 months still to go to the September 18, 2104 poll.
He tweeted: "SNP by-election survey of 19,183 voters in #Donside on #indyref - Yes 34%, No 29%, DK 37%: no #Yes majority yet, but all to play for in 2014."
