A NEW York fashion model has inherited a £2 million fortune from her Scots-loving princess mother.
Olivia Hallman, 40, was the only child of Princess Viola von Hohenzollern, an aristocrat who lived in a Scottish castle before she sold it to a Saudi businessman.
Princess von Hohenzollern auctioned off everything in Killochan Castle, near Girvan, Ayrshire after its new owner declined to keep its contents.
She had sold the 14th- century castle for more than £2.2 million just months before her sudden death in December 2012 in Florida.
The 68-year-old steel tycoon, who had business interests in 16 countries, bought Killochan in 1997.
But it has now emerged she had a £1,945,033.04 fortune in Scotland that has been left to her US-based daughter.
Her husband, the theologian and publisher Dr Prince Donatus von Hohenzollern, declined to accept the money.
Miss Hallman recently retired from modelling to concentrate on horse riding.
