Five men have been arrested following a smash and grab raid on a city centre jewellers.
Three men aged 31, 30 and 29, and two aged 23 are currently being detained in police custody in connection with the Argyll Arcade robbery in September.
It is understood three of the men are from England, and two are from the east of Scotland.
The robbery on September 24 sparked fear among daytime shoppers as they watched a gang run through the arcade, just off Buchanan Street.
The arcade houses more than 30 jewellers and diamond merchants.
The stores targeted during the alleged robbery were Rox, Mappin and Webb, Laing the Jeweller and Lewis Grant.
Members of the public captured video footage of the incident, which took place shortly before 1pm in the busy shopping area.
More than £200,000 worth of designer watches were snatched in 54 seconds during the raid.
A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
