Education Secretary Angela Constance is to auction her quirky "Bambi Deer" shoes for charity.

Ms Constance, MSP for Almond Valley, caused a stir when she wore the unusual footwear in the Scottish Parliament last September.

She revealed on Twitter that her "favourite" size 8, £125 Irregular Choice high heels will now be auctioned off to the highest bidder for Shoe Aid UK.

The charity was set up to raise awareness and help the 300 million children worldwide who do not have a pair of shoes.

The auction starts tomorrow at 5pm and bids can be emailed to angelaconstance.shoeauction@outlook.com
