A procession of women have walked the streets of Glasgow to celebrate International Women's Day.

The March of Women took place on the eve of the international celebration which takes place tomorrow.

The filmed public art event saw women dress up as suffragettes to celebrate the achievements of Scottish women past and present.

Beginning in the Glasgow Women's Library, there was a performance of the play Suffragette, by Cicely Hamilton, before a procession spilled out on the the streets of Bridgeton and made its way to Glasgow Green.
