British intelligence agencies have admitted to using female-friendly websites to recruit more women.
MI5, MI6 and GCHQ have all turned to Mumsnet to find new female spies, nicknamed Jane Bonds, following a report on plans to acheive a better gender balance amonst staff. MI5 has set itself a target of a 45 percent female workforce by 2021.
MI5, along with GCHQ, have dropped the requirement for a 2:1 degree from their key reqruitment schemes, preferring life experience.
The report followed speculation X Files actress Gillian Anderson could be the next James Bond.
Showbiz sites have been discussing who will slip into 007's tux following reports Daniel Craig is vacating the role.
Gillian retweetd a mocked up Bond poster of herself as the secret agent with the hashtag #NextBond, declaring: ''It’s Bond. Jane Bond''
Male stars rumoured to be in the running for the coveted part include Idris Elba, Damian Lewis and Tom Hiddleston.
But plenty of fans are keen on X-Files star Gillian giving the role a feminine touch.
