Car and bus collision on M8 causes substantial tailbacks
A BUS was evacuated after colliding with a car on the M8 in Glasgow.
Police said the car broke down in the fast lane shortly after 6.15pm and the incident caused substantial tailbacks.
Both vehicles were recovered around an hour later.
A Police Scotland spokesman said a new bus was sent to the scene and the passengers were homeward bound by 7.30pm.
There were no reports of any injuries.
