A BODY has been found in the search for a man who was reported missing from his home in Edinburgh.
A public appeal was made by police after Kuljit Pall disappeared and was last seen leaving Restalrig Terrace at 7.30pm on Sunday.
Police in Edinburgh have confirmed that the body of Kuljit Pall was discovered during inquiries to trace him.
The 35-year-old was found in the North Hillhousefield area at around 1.15am on Friday.
Police Scotland say there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding this death and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
Inspector Kevin Smith from Craigmillar Police Station said: "Our deepest sympathies are with Kuljit's family at this time and we will continue to provide them with all the support and assistance they may require.
"I'd also like to thank the public who assisted with our missing person investigation."
