Three people have died and another three are seriously injured following a road crash in North Wales.

Emergency services responded after two cars collided on the outskirts of Denbigh at around 7:30pm on Friday.

Three people were pronounced dead at the scene, and three were taken to hospital with serious injuries. Another person sustained minor injuries.

Meanwhile, a six-year-old girl has died after suffering serious head injuries when she was hit by a car in Slough, Berkshire on Friday.

Thames Valley Police said: "The victim, a six-year-old girl, is believed to have been crossing the road when she was in collision with a white Volkswagen Passat, which stopped at the scene."

The child suffered serious head injuries and was transferred to Wexham Park Hospital where she was later pronounced dead.

No arrests have been made and an investigation is under way.
