COPS used a helicopter to trace two men who fled the scene of a suspected break-in.
Officers were called to a property in Eaglesham this morning around 11.20am after reports of men acting suspiciously.
When police arrived at the scene one man was arrested but two other suspects fled the scene in a car.
Local officers were supported by the police helicopter to trace the two men and the vehicle involved to Riverside Gardens.
Officers raced to the South Side housing development and the two men were arrested.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said police enquiries are continuing at this time.
A local resident, who asked not to be named, described seeing half a dozen police officers at the scene and a red car being towed away by police.
