Dunblane pupil Catherine Duncan was one of hundreds of children and young adults competing in the Glasgow Music Festival on Friday.

The 18-year-old took part in the Debussy and Ravel piano solos class, as well as the piano duets open class.

On Friday 13 winners walked away successful from their categories.

These included Erin Black in the piano solos open class and Niamh Pragnell Toal in the opera category.
