A number of people have been injured after a multi-vehicle collision on the M90 near Bridge of Earn.
Emergency services were called to the scene at 1.50pm to reports of a crash involving four cars and a lorry.
One person was trapped in their car and police say there are a number of injuries, but none appear to be life-threatening.
Five fire appliances attended, and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service confirmed they were using cutting gear to free the driver.
The M90 northbound was closed between junctions nine and ten for several hours while emergency services dealt with the incident.
Traffic was diverted off at junction nine and along the A912.

A police spokesperson said: "Police Scotland is currently dealing with a multi-vehicle road traffic collision on the northbound M90 between junctions 9 and 10 near Bridge of Earn, which happened about 1:50pm today.
"There are a number of injuries but none appear to be life threatening at this time."
