The teenager convicted of killing Alesha MacPhail has finally admitted to abducting, raping and murdering the six-year-old.
Aaron Campbell, 16, denied any involvement in the child's death during the murder trial and even lodged a special defence blaming the girlfriend of Alesha's father for the crime.

QC Brian McConnachie, who defended the teenager, said he has now taken responsibility for the crimes during a social work report.
Mr McConnachie also told the court that the teenager had "traits on the psychopathy checklist", following a psychology report carried out on Campbell.
He added that the 16-year-old had a “less than ideal upbringing”.

He also said a doctor's report into Campbell “makes depressing reading", with the doctor apologising for his pessism apparent throughout.
The report found Campbell “presents a wide range of factors with regard to sexually harmful behaviour”.
A victim impact statement was read out on behalf of Alesha’s grandparents Callum MacPhail and Angela King.
It said: “We are utterly devastated. Alesha was a beautiful, smart, funny and kind girl. We are traumatised.
“We do not see how we can live a normal life. Her future was taken and so was ours.”
Judge Lord Matthews has now retired to consider his verdict.
