08:18 The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service is alerted to reports of a fire within the roof space of a commercial premise on Sauchiehall Street.
09:00 It’s confirmed there are no casualties but residents are advised to remain indoors and close windows.
10:06 The blaze is well alight as seven appliances gather at the scene.

11:35 Police close Renfrew Street from Cambridge Street to West Nile Street. Local access is available but all city centre traffic is diverted via Cowcaddens Road.
11:45 The Pavilion Theatre cancels its scheduled show.
11:53 Concern as the fire continues to rage after more than three hours.
12:14 The smoke is visible from as far away as Stepps and Rutherglen.
12:17 The police cordon is extended all the way to the top of Buchanan Street.
