WESTLIFE fans have hit out at the organisation of the SSE Hydro after they were told to stand or get their money back after 'transport delays' meant there were a lack of seats.
The boy band are currently on their Twenty Tour of the UK and the Hydro released a statement telling fans with prime seats that their tickets had been changed.
The SSE Hydro stated due to transport delays the seating layout for the show had to be changed so that a number of people who were due to be seated would be standing.
The venue said that anyone who was unable to stand or those who would prefer not to, would be entitled to a full refund from their original point of purchase.
Some fans were told the issue arose because a lorry carrying the seats had been held up getting to the Hydro.
But the organisers were bombarded with complaints from fans paying up to £250 a ticket about the move.
Marian Lang said: "Absolutely gutted about this! We have had to come away and attempt to get a refund! After looking forward to this concert for such a long time! Shocking thing to happen!"

Lorna Erdoğan added: "Totally disgusted especially with the way we were treated. Spoke to a steward who told me we don't do refunds and go speak to the box office.
"I waited in another queue there to be told by them to contact who you bought your ticket from for a refund!!
Sharon Clark from Paisley added: "We were meant to be five rows from the front. Got no notification or anything until we got to the venue, now quite far back & still waiting & £200 a ticket for the privilege. Absolute shambles."

Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
heraldscotland.com is tackling this problem by allowing only subscribers to comment.
We are doing this to improve the experience for our loyal readers and we believe it will reduce the ability of trolls and troublemakers, who occasionally find their way onto our site, to abuse our journalists and readers. We also hope it will help the comments section fulfil its promise as a part of Scotland's conversation with itself.
We are lucky at The Herald. We are read by an informed, educated readership who can add their knowledge and insights to our stories.
That is invaluable.
We are making the subscriber-only change to support our valued readers, who tell us they don't want the site cluttered up with irrelevant comments, untruths and abuse.
In the past, the journalist’s job was to collect and distribute information to the audience. Technology means that readers can shape a discussion. We look forward to hearing from you on heraldscotland.com
