A campaign to support a Bo'ness band after their band hall and instruments were lost in a disastrous fire has raised over double its target amount in just two days.
Bo'ness United football stadium at Newton Park went ablaze on Tuesday after rolls of astroturf caught fire.
The flames ravaged a hall used by local brass group Kinneil Band, and claimed their instruments and equipment.

A crowdfunder was set up to support the band, who say they not only lost their hall but also 'irreplaceable memories'.
The initial target of £5,000 was smashed within one day, and has since climbed past £10,000 just two days after the fire with almost 500 supporters contributing.
We continue to be deeply heartened by the utter generosity of people from this amazing town of Bo’ness and from people all over the world. Thank you.

The band's secretary Robert Docherty told The Herald the response to the fundraiser was 'overwhelming'.
He said: "I've had a look through those who have donated - some are recognisable as people who have either played with the band or know some of its members, but there are lots of people I don't recognise.
"It's overwhelming to have strangers donate to the cause. The money raise will help take us over the next few months and make sure we can continue practicing."
He says the band is like an 'extended family', and they were devastated when they heard news of the fire.
"We were rehearsing on Monday night as usual," Robert explained. "I got a call from a neighbour the next morning - by the time I got there, the fire was fully developed.
"Nobody ever wishes this experience in their lifetime – but it’s not until it’s happened and you’re faced with all these obstacles that it becomes real."
German band Soli Brass donated bar venue from their show on Wednesday night to the fundraiser, boosting the campaign by £250.
Actor Gary Wales, known for his modelling work and appearance in Game of Thrones, said he has nothing but pride for his hometown.
Commenting on the fundraiser, he wrote: "Very sad news indeed. My hometown community are devastated but with the help from all of us, we will be sure to grow stronger as a team and family.

"Well done Bo’ness you have done us all proud.
"Thank you all for contributing to the Kinneil band. Memories that can not be brought back but they will never be forgotten."

Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
heraldscotland.com is tackling this problem by allowing only subscribers to comment.
We are doing this to improve the experience for our loyal readers and we believe it will reduce the ability of trolls and troublemakers, who occasionally find their way onto our site, to abuse our journalists and readers. We also hope it will help the comments section fulfil its promise as a part of Scotland's conversation with itself.
We are lucky at The Herald. We are read by an informed, educated readership who can add their knowledge and insights to our stories.
That is invaluable.
We are making the subscriber-only change to support our valued readers, who tell us they don't want the site cluttered up with irrelevant comments, untruths and abuse.
In the past, the journalist’s job was to collect and distribute information to the audience. Technology means that readers can shape a discussion. We look forward to hearing from you on heraldscotland.com
