A WOMAN was walking along a lane near to Hood Street in Clydebank when she was reportedly assaulted by a stranger.

The 23-year-old was approached from behind by an unknown man, who pushed her to the ground, causing grazing to her arm and hand.

The incident took place on June 3, at around 9.40pm.

He then ran off, and the woman contacted police.

Officers are carrying out enquiries, including checking CCTV.
