Tens of thousands are expected to take to the streets of a popular Ayrshire town tomorrow in support of Scottish independence, according to organisers.

All Under One Banner are holding their fourth major rally in Ayr, following similar demonstrations in Glasgow, Galashiels and Oban.

Here is everything you need to know about tomorrow's march:

WHERE DOES IT BEGIN?

The march will take off from Blackburn car park at 1.30pm sharp. Anyone wishing to march is advised to arrive early to be organised into formation by stewards.

WHICH ROUTE WILL IT FOLLOW?

The procession route is as follows: Blackburn Carpark, Esplanade, Pavilion Road, Wellington Square, Barns Street, Dalblair Road, Alloway Street, High Street, Sandgate, Wellington Square, Bath Place, Esplanade, Low Green.

WHICH ROADS WILL BE CLOSED?

South Ayrshire Council have advised no roads will be officially closed, but motorists are asked to allow extra time for their journeys after 1.30pm in the afternoon.

The march will be walking through a number of streets, and disruption to traffic is expected.

HOW MANY WILL BE THERE?

According to social media posts by organisers All Under One Banner, the numbers for tomorrow are expected to be in the tens of thousands.

They said over 100,000 attended their Glasgow rally, at least 7,000 in Oban and around 5,000 in Galashiels.

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?

There is no specified dress code for the march, but organisers encourage Scots colours, flags, banners, pipes and drums to be brought to the event.

WHEN IS THE NEXT MARCH?

All Under One Banner have marches planned for Campbeltown on July 27th, and Aberdeen on August 17.
