The family of a teenage girl who was killed in an alleged hit-and-run have said they "feel as though we are in a nightmare that we cannot wake up from".
Robyn Fryar, 15, was out with friends in Paisley, Renfrewshire, at around 2am on Sunday and was crossing Glenburn Road near Fereneze Drive when she was struck by a car.
She was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow but died a short time later.
Two men have appeared in court accused of causing the teenager's death by dangerous driving.

In a statement, her family said their pain is "too much to bear".
They said: "Robyn was tragically taken from us in the early hours of Sunday morning and there are no words to describe our loss and the horrific and meaningless act which caused her death.
"Robyn was a loving daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, and a loyal friend. She lived life with love and laughter in her heart.
"To be taken from us at such a young age is devastating; we will never experience the joy of seeing her married or have her own children.
"Her family and friends currently feel as though we are in a nightmare that we cannot wake up from, with the pain too much to bear."
They added: "We do hope that there will be justice for Robyn in the future, and changes will be made so that no other parent loses a child in such horrific circumstances."

The family thanked the emergency services and community members who "fought so hard to save Robyn's life".
They also thanked St Andrews School, where she studied, and those who had sent messages of support.
Shaun Gatti and David Kinnon, both 20, appeared at Paisley Sheriff Court on Monday charged with causing death by dangerous driving.

Gatti was also charged with a further two traffic offences and with attempting to pervert the course of justice.
Neither man entered a plea and both were granted bail ahead of a further court appearance.
