Police alert as two hurt in 'incident' in East Kilbride
Two people have been hospitalised after a shooting in East Kilbride.
Police have cordoned off Gordon Drive and part of Calderwood Road in the wake of the incident at around 11.05pm on Tuesday night.
Forensic police officers are said to be at the scene.
The condition of the two that were hurt is not yet known.
A spokesperson for the force said: "We were called to reports of an incident in Gordon Drive around 11.05pm last night.
"Two people have been taken to hospital and enquiries are ongoing.
"Officers remain at the scene at this time."
