Liverpool wonderkid Sepp van den Berg has praised ex-Celtic star Virgil Van Dijk and insists he's keeping a note of every bit of advice he's given by the best in the world.

Van Dijk has been helping 17-year-old van den Berg since his £1.7million move from PEC Zwolle.

The highly-rated youngster was fast-tracked to train with the Reds' first-team and he's used his time with UEFA's Men's Player of the Year Van Dijk to become a better player.

Speaking to FOX Sports, van den Berg said: "They actually teach me everything.

"Virgil van Dijk, for example, who I can watch.

"They teach me how to win the Champions League final.

"Everyone gives me tips. I am still young, so if I do something wrong, I will be told in a friendly way.

"If you really do something wrong, you will, of course, get blasted.

"Everyone helps me. I can learn the most from Van Dijk. So if he gives me tips, I'll save them.

"If I make a mistake like not stepping up, etc. Things like that. Things you need to know."
