Billel Omrani has said that he is ‘fit and ready’ to face Celtic again in the Europa League tomorrow night.

Cluj return to Glasgow after their dramatic 4-3 win at Celtic Park knocked the Scottish Champions out of qualifying for the Champions League back in August.

The striker scored twice in six minutes the last time the two sides faced each other and caused Neil Lennon’s side some problems.

After being injured during Cluj’s 3-0 win against Caz Meten, there had been injury doubt for Omrani ahead of the Europa League Group E clash at Parkhead.

However, the 26-year-old Frenchman has said he is available to play, according to The Scottish Sun.

He said: “I am fit and ready to play. I had some pain recently but I am fine now.

“I want to score in every game I play in so of course I want to score here again.

“We will work hard for the victory. We work a lot in training and we play every single game to win. We will see what happens.”

Reports from a Romanian news website linked the Hoops with a £3 million move for Omrani in August after the Champions League qualifier defeat, but the striker refused to comment on the rumours.

He said: "I don't want to talk about that.

“The club can talk to you about this. I want to focus on Thursday's game.

“We had the opportunity to win against Lazio and we did. We are very happy with that result. Now we need to focus on the next game on Thursday.”
