A bomb disposal squad has been called to a property in Clydebank after a device was found in a shed.

A 100 metre cordon was set up on Beeches Road at around 11.55pm as officers deal with the device.

A traffic management plan was put in place and locals were evacuated from nearby houses.

Residents were urged to stay away from the area while emergency services dealt with the incident.

The cordon was lifted at around 3pm.

The Explosive Ordnance Disposal team have since moved the device to a nearby field to carry out a controlled explosion.
