A CAR has been set alight in a late-night targeted attack in Shawlands.
The BMW was on fire in Millwood Street last night forcing locals to call 999.
A car parked next to the vehicle has also been damaged in the blaze.
The area was sealed off as officers began their investigation in a bid to find those responsible for the attack.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "It was around 10.45 pm, police received a report of a car - a BMW - on fire in Millwood Street.
"Emergency services attended and the fire was put out.
"Another vehicle, a Suzuki parked next to the BMW, was also damaged.
"Early indications are that the BMW was deliberately set on fire and enquiries are ongoing."
