Kieran Tierney has boarded a flight to Vitoria Guimares for Arsenal's Europa League clash this Thursday - just hours after the Gunners requested he not be called up to the Scotland squad due to injury.
Scotland boss Steve Clarke admitted frustration that the £25million man would not be available for a double-header against Cyprus and Kazakhstan.
But he was understanding of Arsenal's plight to get their man fit from an "ongoing issue" during next week's international break.
Members of the Tartan Army also struggled to hide their anger at KT's omission, with plenty urging Clarke to - from now on - ignore the English Premier League club's requests to have their left-back sit out.
Now pictures emerging of Tierney flying to Portugal to no doubt play a part in his club's Europa match will undoubtedly cause more frustration for Scots.

Even Arsenal supporters have found themselves up in arms over Tierney's game time - with thousands complaining that he should be starting ahead of Sead Kolasinac.
It is understood the defender is likely to start Thursday's game between Arsenal and Setubal.
