Scots singer Gerry Cinnamon lost his cool during his latest gig in London after a bottle was thrown towards him while he was on stage.

The Glaswegian star threatened to fight the culprit at the 02 Brixton Academy in London on Friday night.

In shocking video footage shared on social media, he can be seen dropping his guitar and storm towards the crowd in the direction of the thrown bottle.

When he returned to the stage, the star can be heard shouting: "See this c*** who tried to hit me with a bottle, I will walk off here and rip you limb from limb you f*****g idiot.

Warning: Strong language

"Ya f*****g daftie, I'll punch your c*** in."

He then began to point towards members of the audience asking "Was it you?" before carrying on with his set.

Some people were quick to jump to the singer's defence, with one writing on Twitter: "If someone tried to hit me with a bottle I would've reacted in the same way."

But some branded the incident 'embarrassing', with one writing: "That’s just sent cringe right down my spine man."
